Dixon Salo Architects

Dixon Salo Architects, Inc. was founded in 1977 by Neil R. Dixon and Wayne O. Salo. In 2016, Jesse G. Hilgenberg, a long-time employee, became a principal of the firm. Our office is located at 300 Main Street in Worcester, Massachusetts. In the 40 years since the firm was founded, Dixon Salo has been providing architectural and planning services to clients primarily throughout the six New England states. Dixon Salo has worked with well over 1,000 different clients, completing over $400,000,000 of work. We take pleasure in exploring the design potential in each project; no project is too large or too small. Our projects have ranged from small feasibility studies to major multi-million dollar multi-building campuses. Our clients have come from both the public and private sector.

We take pride in having earned a reputation for "going the extra mile" for our clients by doing whatever is necessary to ensure a successful project completion. This attitude has led to the large percentage of repeat clients that our firm has developed since it was founded. We have been able to accomplish this by listening to our clients, understanding their goals and needs and then translating that information into ideas and design solutions within the required budget, time constraints, and design parameters. We take great pride in never having missed a design deadline.
